The Jefferson County Master Gardeners Foundation is accepting applications for its first round of grants, scholarships and training assistance for 2010.
The deadline to apply is Thursday, April 1.
Scholarships will be $1,000 and awarded to students accepted into accredited two- or four-year degree programs.
Grants and training assistance awards can range from $100 to $1,000.
Those seeking scholarships and training assistance must be residents of Jefferson County.
Grant proposals from organizations and individuals must meet the foundation’s sustainable horticulture and environmental stewardship goals.
