SEQUIM The Five Acre School Parent Service Organization is hosting their second winter “Beat the Blues Barn Dance” Saturday, Feb. 6 with two fun events.
The daytime event features an all-ages dance and carnival from noon to 4 p.m.
The evening event, for adults 16 and older only, will be held from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
“Last year was such a fabulously fun time that we have expanded to include a family-friendly dance and carnival during the day,” organizers said.
This event will include carnival games, plating trees to take home, bead crafts, instrument making and, of course, a lot of dancing.
Both events will be held at the Cedarfield Barn, 702 Kitchen-Dick Road.
Deadwood Revival and the Black Diamond Fiddlers Club will perform at both events.
A raffle for extensive packages will occur.
No-host food vendors will include Bella Italia and Blue Flame BBQ.
There will also be local beer and wine at the evening event.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or at Odyssey Bookshop & Gifts, 114 W. Front St. in Port Angeles, and at The Cracked Bean Coffee Company, 10191 Old Olympic Highway in Sequim.
Adults (16 and up) pay $15 for both dances and children (5 to 15 years old) are $5, children four years old and younger are free.
