Preparations for the First Friday Art Walk Sequim on Aug. 6 are underway.
The free self-guided walk will celebrate summer with an array of local artists showcasing their work at galleries, downtown shops, the Museum & Arts Center, artists’ studios and alternative venues.
The family-oriented walk takes place in Sequim between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m on the first Friday of every month.
Highlights of the Aug. 6 walk will include painter Autumn Eve Duenow showing her recent work at Hurricane Coffee Co., 104 W. Washington St., and photography exhibits at The Red Rooster Grocery, 134½ W. Washington St., and Lippert’s Restaurant, 134 S. Second Ave.
Art walk organizers are seeking fiber artists interested in showing work at the Fiber Arts Festival, which starts during the October art walk.
The deadline to apply is Sunday, Aug. 1.
