SEQUIM — The Olympic Peninsula chapter of the American Red Cross has finalized its March schedule of first-aid and CPR classes in Sequim.
A CPR certificate is valid for one year.
A standard first-aid certificate is valid for three years.
Classes will be held at 151 Ruth’s Place.
>>> Infant and Child CPR, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 11.
>>> Dog and Cat First Aid, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 16.
>>> Adult CPR and Standard First Aid, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 20.
>>> Adult CPR Review, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday, March 22.
>>> Babysitter’s Training, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 27.
Registration and payment are required prior to class.
In addition, training for automated external defibrillator and for blood-borne pathogens is available on request.
Those who register for a full-course adult CPR class will receive a complimentary MiniKey CPR key chain.
If you need to renew your CPR certificate but do not have time to attend a regularly scheduled class, an on-site instructor can conduct a CPR challenge by appointment on Fridays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
