SEQUIM — The Sequim PC Users Group (SPCUG) will meet in the computer lab, Room E-3 at Sequim High School, 601 N. Sequim Ave., at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11.
Guest speaker Maris Turner, Sequim Police Department’s public information/crime prevention officer, will discuss various scams involving phishing, identity theft, spoofing and social networking as well as the Project Lifesaver program.
Project Lifesaver is a service of trained responders to locate missing children and adults who tend to wander because of cognitive conditions, such as autism, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and down syndrome.
