SEQUIM — Lee Bowen will demonstrate how to care for dahlias at the Olympic Peninsula Demonstration Garden, located at the Water Reuse Site north of Carrie Blake Park, 202 N. Blake Ave., at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
Bowen will show attendees the different classifications of dahlias on a walk of the dahlias planted by the Clallam County Master Gardeners and Friends of the Garden on the lavender terraces in the park.
People attending the presentation are asked to park in the Water Reuse parking lot or in the field by the James Performing Arts Center stage.
Participants should dress for changing weather conditions and wear comfortable walking shoes.
This presentation is part of the “Class Act at Woodcock Garden” educational series held on the first Wednesday and third Saturday of the month at 10 a.m.
