SEQUIM — A “BOB-R-Q” for departing Sequim Police Department Chief Bob Spinks will be held between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. outside KSQM in the parking lot at 577 W. Washington St., on Friday, July 2.
The public is invited.
The BOB-R-Q, hosted by KSQM FM radio, will be a celebration of Spinks’ contribution to the Sequim community, organizers of the event said.
Hot dogs, baked beans, chips and drinks will be served, rain or shine.
A special law enforcement dessert will also be available, and donations will be accepted.
Spinks is the announcer for KSQM’s “Five-O Show” on Thursdays and Fridays from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Spinks will be greeting people at both the lunch and dinner segments of the “BOB-R-Q.”
