SEQUIM — The Sequim Senior Activity Center Benefit Sale will take place between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Aug. 5, 6 and 7.
The main sale will occur in vacant storefronts in the QFC shopping center, 990 E. Washington St.
The storefronts are located between Dungeness Kids Co. and Clallam Title Company.
In addition, furniture will be sold in the bus barn, located across Washington Street at 861 Hammond St., which is next to the senior center.
The sale will feature household items including furniture, kitchenwares, tools, garden items and plenty of decorative goods, as well as jewelry, clothing and plants and a bake sale.
Hot-ticket items include two wood chippers and a leather recliner.
“The sale is the Senior Center’s largest annual money-maker, last year bringing in $20,000,” said Margaret Cox, board president.
“Proceeds go to the operations of the center, as well as two scholarships for Sequim High School graduates.
“Come on out and support your community’s Activity Center and high school seniors.”
