Nonprofit to sponsor free festival

SEQUIM – Snap, a local nonprofit for people with development disabilities and their families, will sponsor the free Sprout Film Festival on Saturday, Oct. 15.

The event will be held at Olympic Theatre Arts, 414 N. Sequim Ave., with programs at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Snap is presenting The Sprout Touring Film Festival from New York City.

In addition, Snap will be showing Wretches & Jabbers at its fundraising event that evening at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $25 for this event, which includes appetizers, wine and participation in a silent auction.
